Bonding...

For all that matters it always boils down to the one word, "FAMILY". The bond between the members are so strong that even a wayward one is helped. Why is it that way? Ever pondered on it? Is it because one is able to associate to the family members on a metaphysical level? If so how can one explain a mother identifying her kid who was long lost? I say its a play of the genes and the mind. Mind, no matter what, can conceive, perceive whats happening around our body and can hold that information for us till we die. The required info is always retrieved when the need is real strong. Genes, I feel the electric impulse that is generated in our body synchronises at a particular wave length that ensembles the factors involved for the brain to identify the blood line on a very basic level.

Like someone said, "Blood is thicker than water!"

Birds of the same feather...

I believe it happens only with birds. Do you concur? I have seen how men disavow each other as soon as they know that you are from the same place. That's really disheartening to know. In an alien land one would require all the support that one can get. Some of the scavengers feed on such poor souls. I wonder how they manage to sleep at night.

Job hunting...

It is one of the most tiring and testing times that one needs to go through your life. If you have obligations, then it becomes even most testing. All your budgets and planning go out of the window. Belts need to be tightened you start looking at the price tags of items. This is the time when you really understand what is exactly happening in the real world. Do you think that if one works in a company for longer period you are set? Whats wrong in jumping jobs? A rolling stone gathers no moss, honestly speaking would you like to be clean or moss laden? Just to let you know, moss grows very slow and it takes years to get to a sizeable mass. Just like your salary if you stay in a company for long. average increase is just a mere ten percent. If you jump, such barriers are crossed on leaps and bounds. Your salary strata is higher, your lifestyle is better and your bank account is fatter. For all those who think jumping is bad, you need to try. An organisation will treat you as a furniture if you  have been with them for more than three years. So three is the motto.

Sands of time...

Nope, this is not a review of the game or the movie. I did like the movie, the game proved to be a wee bit too complicated for me. I am not into gaming so its a relief to my pocket.
Coming to the point, It has made me think, on a very strong footing as to

Where have we reached?
Have we embarked on this journey to oblivion?
Are we so stuck in the past that we forget to look what we have in hand and never end up seeing the bigger picture?
Why are we so stuck up?
What do we get from it?
If we can say sorry to the person we bump into the street [mind you its a total stranger] why can't we do the same at home?
Why are we so egotistical to the ones we love?
Why do we consider the feelings of strangers before we say something and not consider the feelings of the ones we love and love us back?

I think being materialistic has this amazing quality of diluting all our morales.
